Tellwut Review- Is it a Scam?

With the rising costs of living and the not so rising pay wages, it makes complete sense for the working man or woman to try to find alternate ways to make that dough. The internet offers unlimited possibilities, and with that survey sites have become a popular way to rake in some extra cash. Sometimes you may not know whether something is worth your time or not. Which brings me to this review about popular survey site, Tellwut.

What is Tellwut?

Tellwut, which is short for “tell us what you think,” is an online survey company based out of Canada.  Founded in 2012, Tellwut has been reviewed by the Better Business Bureau and received an A+ rating.

Tellwut basically does online research. On the site, you can make surveys, you can take surveys and you get points. Those points will grow and soon you’ll be able to redeem them for a gift card. There are some useful gift cards in there like Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, and the list goes on.

Tellwut is great for business too! They specialize in online market research which makes it easier for companies to get respondents for their market research. Companies have to subscribe to a membership at Tellwut.

Taking Surveys on Tellwut

For users of Tellwut the site is free. You log in after verifying email and you just pick out surveys. A lot of the surveys are short, only four to five questions. Which is great if your short on time, or absolutely dread committing half an hour of your precious time to a single survey. Everyone qualifies for the surveys and gets points which is unlike taking those surveys in the mall where you need to fit into a certain demographic. Tellwut is all inclusive.

Tellwut is one of its kind among the online paid research community for its prominence on user engagement. The surveys are created by other members of the Tellwut panel and are a lot more fun than you’d expect a market research survey to be.

Tellwut’s business surveys, which may be a lot less fun is worth more points than the user created surveys.

Tellwut always has a lot of surveys which users like the unlimited access. There is no waiting around for an email to take a survey to pop up in your mailbox. Users can log in at any moment, every day if they like, and take user created surveys for a few points a day.

There are users who’ve claimed that some of the surveys are intellectually stimulating and some learn new things every day. There is no limit on the amount of surveys people can take a day, so the possibilities of earning some nice gift cards is potentially endless.

How to Make Money with Tellwhut

Tellwut isn’t the place if you’re looking to replace your monthly income with it, but it’s great if you just want to make some extra cash in your free time.

All you need to do is visit the site and give them your name and email address. After that they’ll email you with a link to verify your account.

Once the account is finished, you are rewarded for signing up with 100 points. After giving them some more information about yourself, like shipping information, you get another 200 points.

It’s great that Tellwut doesn’t disqualify anyone for taking surveys but it takes some time to build enough points to cash out. You need 4,000 points to cash out for a $10 gift card. A lot of the surveys are only worth 10 points but they are rather short, so they don’t take too much time. You just need to be mentally prepared to do 400 surveys.

This earning potential is typical to survey sites. So, you’d go in with the mindset of making quick money, it’s just extra money in the form of gift cards. Tellwut does take a few days to process gift cards, approximately 10-15 days. It’s not a service to pay the bills with, so it doesn’t seem of the utmost importance to get it quick.

Tellwut also has an interactive blog where users can get payment for contributing to the blog. Users also have the option to private message each other which adds to the community feeling of tellwut.

Creating Surveys

The great thing about tellwut is that users not only make money for taking surveys but they can also make money by creating surveys.

When creating a survey, there is a lot of guidelines they offer for creating a survey and it goes under review. If the survey is approved, you get 15-20 points. Creating a survey is limited to two a week, but it’s a good way to rack up those points.

You can also fill out polls to earn 5-10 points and it only takes a few seconds. If you got the time to spare it, why not?

Referral Program

Another cool way to get some points is through their referral program. Refer a friend and get up to 25 points per friend that signs up too. Unfortunately, tellwut also limits accounts to one per household, so signing up your entire house doesn’t work out too well but there is always extended family.

Tellwut is open to all residents of U.S and Canada that are 18 years of age or older.

Pros

  • Unlimited access to surveys
  • Pay efficiently and within 10-15 days.
  • Polls don't take long and they are engaging.
  • Results can be seen immediately.

  • No cash out option.
